Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, grew up a bun head in Crystal Lake, Illinois and attended Alma college in Michigan on scholarship where she received her B.A in Dance Performance. Throughout her career she has studied ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, tap, character, jazz, hip hop, and yoga. Kat studied and performed at the American Country Dance Association (ACDA) two years in a row and choreographed her own full length show as her senior thesis. Kat also attended American Dance Festival’s summer intensive in 2016, studied with renowned artists such as Nia Love, Paul Matteson, and Otto “Aquaboogie,” mainly focusing on modern, improv, and hip hop. She was then casted and performed at the international choreographer’s showcase.

Kat moved to Colorado and has had the pleasure to dance and perform with several companies including: Kim Robards Modern Dance Company, Ethereum Modern Dance Company, Nosilla Modern Dance Company, Dream Project Dance Company, Evolving Doors Modern Dance Company, and Life Art Dance Company. During her time in Colorado, Kat started Bl!nk Modern Dance Company, where she artistically produced shows in Denver at multiple venues and fashion shows and still continuously performs with them. She co- directed Bonnies on Tap and K&M Entertainment; two back up dancing businesses that performed at concerts, holiday shows, business parties and music videos.

Along with dancing, she has a passion for teaching dance. Kat has been teaching for the past ten years throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Colorado and Florida. She has had the pleasure of coming on as a guest teacher/ choreographer for various studios and has been creating series of film work with herself and her students. In 2022 she attended Sarasota Contemporary Dance Summer Intensive in Florida.

Kat models professionally outside of dance and has been featured in various magazines and projects, and has a background in painting and art. She has participated in several art shows and has had the pleasure of performing at art shows, incorporating her dancing.

Kat is excited to further her dance career out in her new home in California.
