Victoria Manning
Victoria Manning grew up in Massachusetts and trained with Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. She attended summer intensive programs across the country and trained with Philadelphia Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet Austin, Brookline Ballet, Orlando Ballet and Washington Ballet. After high school Manning attended Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and Kelley School of Business where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance and an Outside Field in Marketing. There she had the privilege of working with Kyra Nichols, Carla Korbes, Michael Vernon, Shawn Stevens, Sarah Wroth, and Sasha Janes while also teaching in the pre-college and adult ballet dance programs. After college, she danced professionally and taught for Virginia National Ballet and School before joining New England Ballet Theatre as a Company Artist for three seasons. In January 2021 Ms. Manning founded The School of New England Ballet Theatre where she served as the Founding Director from 2021-2023 before moving to Los Angeles to dance for American Contemporary Ballet. She has performed in works choreographed by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Mark Morris, Christopher Fleming, Michael Vernon, Jose Mateo, Jacob Taylor, Saki Morimoto, Janelle Gilchrist, Rachael Gnatowski, and Rafik Hegab.
