All that Glitters and Flesh and Blood return to the active repertoire by popular demand.
Kenneth Walker Dance Project, comprised of eight professional dancers from Southern California, is a vehicle for nationally recognized choreographer Kenneth Walker. KWDP appeared at the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Festivals in Charleston, South Carolina in 2006 and 2007, the AAPHERD Southeast Conference in Virginia and the 2008 American Dance Guild Festival in New York. KWDP has also appeared at the Los Angeles Dance Invitational, Palm Desert Dance Under the Stars, Miles Playhouse in Santa Monica, and Central Coast Summerfest in Monterey, California. Mr. Walker’s choreography has been well received. John Meehan former director of ABT Studio Company, now currently with Hong Kong Ballet, described Walker’s Savage Grace as “…a fun piece, full of energy with some nice choreographic invention;” and, Alun Jones, former director of Louisville Ballet called Savage Grace “tremendous.”
